House members may soon control their web pages

By January, you may see a new look to House members' web pages.

The House's web site subcommittee may be on track to let representatives add anything they want to their web pages as long as it concerns state business.

Since representatives would be on the honor system, some subcommittee members worry that the pages might be used for political gains like fundraising.

Kansas City area GOP Representative Carson Ross wants to give his colleagues the benefit of the doubt.
