Auto theft in Missouri has dropped from last year. Tracy Sadeghian has the details from Jefferson City.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, Almost 23-thousand cars were reported stolen in Missouri in 1996.
And auto theft has decreased by 4-percent since 1995.
But Missouri Insurance Information Spokesman Calvin Call says auto theft is costing the state...
Oldsmobile Cutlass, Chevrolet Caprice, Oldsmobile Delta, Chevrolet Cavalier, Ford Escort led the pack as the most frequently stolen cars.
