The Republican Candidate for Governor is keeping quiet about Mel Carnahan's new tax credit scholarships.
Kelly Just reports from Jefferson City.
Governor Carnahan's plan to hand out a 15-hundred dollar tax credit to college students is meeting with little reaction from his opponent.
The operations director for Margaret Kelly's campaign says the State Auditor has been too busy campaigning around the state to take a close look at the program and make any comments.
But Randy Kammerdiener (Cammer-deaner) says Kelly will respond to Carnahan's plan in the next few weeks with her own tax proposal to address all state issues, including education.
That announcement will be made just five weeks before the November elections.
