Opponents Celebrate Victory

Opponents of a minimum wage increase are celebrating a circuit court decision to keep language on the November ballot.

As David Freitas reports, the ballot will show the financial impact of a wage increase on Missouri.

The Cole County Circuit Court upheld the state's November ballot langauage that reads that a minimum wage increase would cost the state 100 million dollars by the year 2000.

Cole County Circuit Court Judge Byron Kinder ruled that the financial note is fair.

The opposition's spokesman Mark Rhoads says Kinder's decision is a victory for the campaign against the wage increase.
