Democrats are responding to the inditement of former House Speaker Bob Griffin on federal criminal charges. Jennifer Horton has the details from Jefferson City.

Democrats are saying the inditement of former House Speaker Bob Griffin will not affect the party's race in the upcoming election.

House Speaker Steve Gaw says he does not expect this issue to effect the campaign of any Democratic candidate.

Joe Carmichael, chairman of the State Democratic Party agrees, saying he believes despite the efforts of the Republican Party to use this issue, the voters will be focusing on more relevant issues.
