State Capital Bureau Democrats are responding to the inditement of former House Speaker Bob Griffin on federal criminal charges. Jennifer Horton has the details from Jefferson City.

Contents: This is a judicial issue, not a political issue. Anything that comes out of this is for the courts to take care of. Joe Carmichael, chairman of the State Democratic Party agrees, saying he believes despite the efforts of the Republican Party to use this issue, the voters will be focusing on more relevant issues.
