Over 8 thousand accidents each year are caused by deer. Representative Dale Whiteside says his bill will send a message to Conservation officials to manage the herd better.

OutCue: number of accidents
Contents: Whiteside says his bill is designed to get a handle on how many deer are out there based on the number of accidents.

If passed, the bill would give landowners extra hunting privileges and could result in longer seasons and increased bag limits. From the state capitol, I'm Conrad Jungmann.
