Governor Carnahan has extended his money lead over Margaret Kelley in the Gubernatorial race. Tracy Sadeghian has the story from the State Capital.

Today was the cut off date for candidates to submit their campaign finance reports to the Missouri Ethics Commission.

The reports show that in the past 30 days, Governor Carnahan has raised more than four times the cash than his opponent, Margaret Kelley. Carnahan reeled in nearly 658-thousand dollars, while Kelley collected just under 152-thousand dollars.

Reporters who showed up on the filing deadline today were barred from seeing the complete campaign finance reports because the the reports were still being sorted.

From the State Capitol, I'm Tracy Sadeghian.
