Candyce Clifft

Candyce Clifft is a broadcast news graduate student at the University of Missouri School of Journalism. She can be reached at c673130@showme.missouri.edu.

As part of her work for a radio-reporting course, Candyce is in Jefferson City two days a week. She covers events and issues in Missouri state government for KMOX Radio in St. Louis.

Candyce received her Bachelor's degree in English-journalism at Tennessee Technological University in May 1995. While there, she was editorials editor for the student newspaper, The Oracle.

She was also a section co-editor for the school yearbook, The Eagle. She volunteered to read the news for WTTU-FM, the college radio station. In 1993, Candyce became only the fourth woman in school history elected president of the student body.

Her career goal is to work as an anchor for a television network news broadcast.
